You do not need to know the name of the problem
Choose the closest description. It is a starting point, not a diagnosis, and it leads to an explanation rather than a product page.
Conversations sound unclear
Speech is harder to follow, especially with background noise.
There is ringing or buzzing
A sound that is not outside you keeps pulling your attention.
Hearing aids are not working well
They sound weak, distorted, intermittent, or never felt quite right.
An ear feels blocked or full
Wax or another cause may be changing what reaches the eardrum.

The person who tests your hearing should remember your story.
Hearing care is not a single transaction. The first fitting matters, but so do the adjustments made after you have worn the devices at home, at work, and around the people you most want to hear.
At an independent practice, that follow-up stays with the same clinician. You do not have to start your story again every time something changes.
Four steps. No rush between them.
We listen
The situations that bother you are as important as the numbers on an audiogram.
We measure
A full evaluation shows what has changed, where, and how much.
We explain
You leave understanding the result and the reasonable options, including waiting.
We follow through
If treatment makes sense, the real work continues through fitting and adjustment.
Read the reviews the practice did not get to choose.
The most useful patient feedback lives on an independent public profile. We will point you there rather than selecting only the quotes that flatter us.

Questions people ask quietly
Do I need a referral for a hearing test?
Please check with our office when you call — requirements usually depend on your insurance plan rather than on the practice.
Can I get hearing aids at my first appointment?
Yes. Your first appointment is used for both testing and ordering. If hearing aids are the right route we will explain why and can order them that day, and the decision is always yours.
How long does an appointment take?
Plan for a full appointment rather than a quick screening. The time is what makes it possible to explain the results properly.
What if I have worn hearing aids before and disliked them?
That is worth bringing in. Very often the problem was the fitting or the follow-up rather than the device, and both of those are fixable.
You do not have to be certain it is time for a hearing test.
Tell us what has changed. We can help you decide whether an evaluation is the right next step.
